Brussels Airport (BRU)
Main Belgian airport that has a very easy train connection to all major cities including a direct train to Kortrijk.
Brussels Charleroi (CRL)
Not actually in Brussels. Small airport mainly used by low-cost airlines. Bus and train to Brussels before you can join the main public transport network, expect to lose a couple of hours in transit.
Lille, France (LIL)
Closer geographically than either of the other airports but will take a couple at least a bus to get to Lille train station and then a train to Kortrijk. Interesting as an option if it
saves you heavily on flights.

Trains are generally punctual and affordable. Tickets within Belgium are based on desti-nation and date, not an exact seat or hour of departure so this gives a lot of flexibility.
BY TRAIN
A valid alternative option for UK visitors coming by car as Calais and Dunkirk ferry terminals are less than two hours’ drive away from Kortrijk.
BY BOAT
The Kortrijk train station is quite large
and has direct trains to Gent, Antwerp, Oudenaarde, Brussel, Brussels Airport, Roeselare, Brugge, Ostend, Ieper, Mouscron, Tournai and the Lille
Flandres station in France.
BY TRAIN
Slushwave is located within walking distance of the train station, as are most of the city’s restaurants, shops, historical sites and hotels. If you wish to explore the city we recommend renting a bicycle through Mobiel next to the train station.
GETTING AROUND
If you wish to park close to the venue for Slushwave we recommend Parking
Broeltorens or Parking Budabrug. Parking Broeltorens also has day rates and amenities for Campervans. Be aware that Kortrijk has a lot of one-way streets with the centre of town being almost entirely
a cycling boulevard, where bicycles have priority over motorised traffic.
BY CAR
Kortrijk has tons of Hotels, from small boutique places to big chains such as Ibis. For a slightly more budget-conscious option we can recommend Focus Budget or Hostel Groeninge.
